“Peace” mixed media on stretched canvas 20” x 20” was created for a fundraiser sponsored by the Lambeth Art Association. Proceeds went to the victims of the war in the Ukraine. Since fighting between Russia and the Ukraine, 8 million Ukrainian refugees have fled their country. Environmental damage has led to a food crisis. “Peace” features the traditional Ukrainian head-dress called a “vinok” a wreath worn by young unmarried women. “Peace” has since been SOLD.
